Privacy Policy

How ADK Cyber AI handles your data — what we collect, what we relay, and what we never store.

This Privacy Policy describes how ADK Cyber, LLC ("ADK Cyber," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use ADK Cyber AI (the desktop application) and related services on adkcyber.com. It supplements our Terms of Service.

2. Scope

This policy applies to ADK Cyber AI and the account, licensing, and inference services that support it. It does not cover third-party websites or services you access independently (including Anthropic's services when you use cloud inference plans).

3. Information We Collect

ADK Cyber's account and licensing systems collect only what is needed to authenticate you, enforce your subscription plan, and meter usage:

  • Email address — used for account sign-in, subscription management, and service communications;
  • Session token — issued when you sign in; used to validate your identity and plan quota on each cloud inference request;
  • Subscription status and usage counters — your plan tier (Free, Pro, MAX, or Local) and query quota consumption.

We do not collect or store the content of your firewall configurations, chat messages, or uploaded files on our servers.

4. How Cloud Inference Data Flows

On the Free, Pro, and MAX plans, redacted requests travel through three stages. ADK Cyber processes configuration and chat content in transit only — we do not persist it.

  1. Your machine. ADK Cyber AI runs locally. Secrets (passwords, pre-shared keys, API keys, private keys) are redacted from your configuration on your device before anything is sent. Redacted requests may still include network topology, IP addresses, and configuration structure so the AI can reason about your environment.
  2. ADK Cyber gateway. Hosted on Cloudflare. The gateway checks your session and plan quota, then forwards the redacted request. It passes your data through in transit and does not store it. The Anthropic API key is held in the gateway, not on your machine.
  3. Anthropic. Processes the redacted request and streams the answer back along the same path, under Anthropic's privacy policy. ADK Cyber is not responsible for Anthropic's data-handling practices.

In short:

  • Secrets are redacted on your device before transmission;
  • Your configuration content is never stored by ADK Cyber;
  • The inference API key is held in our gateway, not in the client application.

5. Local Plan

If you subscribe to the Local tier and configure ADK Cyber AI to use your own local language model, your chat messages and configuration data are sent only to the local model endpoint you specify. Nothing is transmitted to Anthropic or to ADK Cyber's cloud inference gateway. In this mode you are solely responsible for the security, privacy, and data-handling practices of your chosen local model and its environment.

6. Data Stored on Your Device

ADK Cyber AI stores conversation history locally on your computer at:

~/.pan_copilot/conversations_v3/

This data remains on your machine under your control. ADK Cyber does not upload or sync these conversation files to our servers. You may delete individual conversations from within the app or remove the folder directly to clear local history.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following categories of third-party providers to operate ADK Cyber AI:

  • Cloudflare — hosts ADK Cyber's inference gateway (session validation, quota enforcement, request relay);
  • Anthropic — provides AI inference for Free, Pro, and MAX plans; data handling is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy;
  • Payment processor — processes subscription billing for paid plans; we receive confirmation of payment status, not full card numbers.

These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service. We do not sell your personal information.

8. How We Use Your Information

We use the account information described in Section 3 to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session;
  • Enforce plan quotas and licensing;
  • Process subscriptions and send billing-related communications;
  • Respond to support requests and protect the security of our services.

9. Data Retention

Account records (email, subscription status) are retained for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations. Session tokens are short-lived and cached only for the duration needed to validate requests. We do not retain configuration or chat content on our servers.

10. Your Choices

  • Local plan — use your own on-premises model so no chat or config data leaves your network;
  • Delete local history — remove conversations from the app or delete ~/.pan_copilot/conversations_v3/;
  • Cancel subscription — through the billing portal; see our Terms of Service for cancellation terms;
  • Contact us — request account-related assistance at jmiller@adkcyber.com.

11. Children's Privacy

ADK Cyber AI is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated to the email address associated with your account.
